Okehampton Community and A Cappella Voices present our Charity Christmas Concert ‘Christmas by Candlelight’, featuring a variety of seasonal music.

From Okehampton Voices: ‘We are so excited about this event and would love to bring the community together for a festive, joyful evening to bring everyone into the Christmas season together, while also raising money for a fantastic cause. We have in particular asked that the funds raised support the Mental Health (in particular Male Mental Health) Support work that they do, as it is an area which has affected many of us in the choir, and those who support the choir.’

A Night at the Opera with National Opera Studio

Five performers from National Opera Studio past and present will perform arias and ensembles that showcase a wide range of the operatic repertoire from Baroque to Broadway, and everything in between. We are looking forward to welcoming our youngsters back after our summer break! Brick Church is a free of charge and very accessible child-centred worship activity aimed at younger children aged 3-11, and which has seen great success since we started in 2021. We always meet at 4pm on the last Saturday of every month. Brick Church offers Bible-focussed brick play, a simple Bible story, and worship through prayer and music. All parents and carers are also very welcome, though we do ask you to stay with your child and to participate in the session, this is also a great way to meet and form new friendships with other hard-working parents.

Our Annual Harvest Festival Service where we give joyful thanks for the new harvest safely gathered in. Please bring your harvest gifts of non-perishable food items – no matter how big or small – and these will be gratefully received and safely delivered to the Okehampton Food Bank.
